Shelly Harris, MA, IMF

I take a very client centered approach to therapy with my clients. I integrate tools from CBT, Solution Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness and Emotion Focused Therapy in the work I do with clients to help them achieved their desired goals. I am an empathic healer and believe that the relationship I build with my clients is paramount to our successful work together. I have experience working with a diverse group of clients from various cultural backgrounds and ages. I have worked with individuals, family and couples as well as adult and child trauma survivors.

In my practice I work with individuals, families and couples suffering from mood disorders, anxiety, relationship distress and other mental health concerns. I am able to provide Christian counseling to those clients who desire to incorporate their faith in the healing process.

My clients will benefit from my experience with children, in a school setting with various mental health concerns ranging from 5-18 years of age. In addition to my education, I have 20 years of experience in Human Resources, where I helped countless employees work through employment and personal struggles.
