I hold a respectful, client-centered approach, working collaboratively with my clients to develop a deeper understanding of themselves with an emphasis on authenticity and self-realization. I graduated with a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology from National University and hold a B.A in Environmental Studies from UC, Santa Barbara. I am experienced working in substance abuse and mental health programs providing individual therapy, couples and family therapy, and group therapy for those struggling with addiction and the underlying concerns that lead to addiction.
I often utilize Dialectical Behavioral skills targeting mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness as well as a Narrative approach to therapy. I’m a firm believer in the power of your story and the way you share it with the world. I am passionate about supporting individuals in all stages of change with the common goal of self-improvement.
